Upgrading to os x 10.4
If you currently have OS X 10.2 or higher follow these steps:
- Ensure your hardware meets the requirements. Check here.
- Insert Mac OS X Tiger disk and double click "Install Mac OS X".
- Click restart.
- Once the computer restarts, follow the installer.
Installing mac Os x 10.4 tiger
To install OS X 10.4 on a computer that is either below 10.2, or has no operating system follow these steps:
- Ensure your hardware meets the requirements. Check here.
- Back up all your important files.
- Insert OS X 10.4 and double click the "Install Mac OS X".
- Click Restart.
- Select your language preference.
- Select a drive to install Tiger on.
- Select the method of installing OS X.
- Select additional software to install.
- Click Install or upgrade and that's it.
