The release of Linux on "Live CD/DVD" has revolutionized the Linux community by allowing anyone to try out a distribution of Linux without making any partitions or system changes. The live OS is run from a combination of the optical disk and RAM and makes no changes to the computers current configuration unless the user requests it. If your new to Linux or just looking to test drive a new distribution try one of these live versions. Just burn the image (ISO) with your favorite software, restart your computer and select boot from CD at the boot screen.
